If you could charge by the trailer harness, couldn't you do the same thing by disconnecting the two cables off the starter? If you do that, you just need a coat hanger to hit the unlock button.
I don't like writing stuff like this, so if a mod has a reason to delete it, please do. If it came down to it, I wouldn't break the glass, I would drill right through the plastic handle. theres an open hole in the metal where the black plastic exterior door handle sits. It's about the size of a hot dog bun. If you go through that, the metal rods are right there. You would just pull up on it to open the lock. (have to do it all the time at picknpull when the handles are taken off). Then you can temporarily cove the hole to keep rain out. I would start behind the pull handle, and work back not to damage the metal. At least that way, you can just pull one and replace it to fix it for a few bucks instead of having damaged glass and replacing it.
