Needing help

Hi my son has a 2004 Tahoe Z71 I've been trying to do the rear main seal I had put a new one in but alas it started leaking again I'm pretty sure the person I had helping put it in backwards I am a 50 year old mom been doing this by myself and I'm looking for some pointers or possibly anyone that lives in South Carolina willing to help with sliding this tranny back again in order to see what went wrong I understand it's cold out now but with two people and I already have everything disconnected and out of the way it shouldn't take but a couple hours at best Please he needs a his truck to find himself another job because he lost the one he had been at and now is losing his home I don't have much but I'm willing to pay you for your time

While others have had success installing the RMS without assistance, I beleive that getting a RMS or "rear-cover" alignment tool gives lots of peace of mind. I hate pulling a tranny recently installed for something like this. Several name brand vendors out there, I went with Sac City due to various recommendations. I also replaced the barbell and rear cover gasket.

Sac City--despite the name lol--is a reputable company.
