New 16 Yukon Denali owner..Issues

Hi all. I just recently bought a 2016 Yukon Denali. Drove great at the dealer. But owning it for almost 2 weeks now and am having major issues with battery drain. And always while car is off and sits for 12 hours or more. I’ve noticed weird things like the HVAC fan motor blowing intermittently while vehicle is off and the DIC in the gauge cluster illuminating after the vehicle has been off for some time and it remains on. I’m a diehard Chevy/GM fan and this is my first nightmare of owning a GM brand vehicle. Anyone have or had these problems? Any suggestions?

start with checking the battery cables and grounds, this means remove and clean them and put them back on even if they look ok.

dealing with the same issue on a customer's 2017. Something is drawing power. Still trying to figure out what.

The problem ended up being the heated seat module under the pass front seat. Disconnect it and the draw went away.

I still haven’t figured it out. Finally going to take it into a shop soon. I’ve been putting it on a battery maintainer every day to keep the battery fresh and not drain again. But I will share these comments with the technician and will let you all know what he finds. Thank you for your comments!
