These aren't PPV wheels, OP. These are black painted or powder coated Silverado work truck wheels with black painted/powder coated plastic Silverado work truck center caps.

Genuine PPV wheels look just like these Silverado work truck wheels, but they're powder coated gloss black from the factory and each wheel is drilled and tapped to accept three bolts which attach the chrome plated, metal PPV center caps. The center caps are also very different in design than the plastic Silverado center caps you have pictured. Also, genuine PPV wheels include six bolts and six bushings that mount between the wheel and center cap. The six bushings are each about a half inch tall and keep the PPV center caps up and off the surface of the wheel once installed.

How do I know all of this? I've owned and sold genuine PPV wheels and center caps and can post pics to illustrate the differences if anyone disagrees with my statements here.

Just in case anyone thinks I'm full of it, here's a picture of my genuine GM PPV wheels and center caps below. Also, I am not calling the OP a liar. Its always possible that he was also misled by somebody else when he acquired these. I just wanted to clear the situation up so nobody else purchased these thinking they were something other than what they really are.

And here's a pic of one of my genuine PPV wheels without the center cap installed. There are six holes where your lug studs come through the face of the rim, and then if you zoom in on the pic you'll see three more smaller threaded holes which are necessary for mounting the genuine PPV center caps. Only genuine PPV wheels will have these three extra little holes. If they don't have them, then they're NOT PPV wheels, unfortunately.

Just to add one more piece of information, these aren't Tahoe PPV wheels, and they're also not Tahoe SSV wheels, either. The Tahoe PPV is the "Police Pursuit Vehicle" and is a pursuit rated version of the Tahoe which was available in 2WD only. The Tahoe SSV is the "Special Service Vehicle" and is a non-pursuit rated Tahoe which is available in a 4WD configuration only and is typically used by Fire Marshall's, etc., since they don't need the pursuit rated vehicles, but do sometimes need the capabilities of a 4WD vehicle. The SSV always came equipped with the standard silver Silverado work truck wheels and plastic center caps, which look like this. They are no different than the cheap Silverado work truck wheels available everywhere online. Same exact wheels and same exact center caps.

If i put ppv in the post or sale, it's because that's what I was sold. I see you took it offensive, but not need to worry.i changed it.so if that makes you feel better, then my day is complete. Btw I'm not being rude.just speaking my mind.

If you took the time to read my entire post, I stated very clearly that I was not calling you a liar and that you could have very easily been misled yourself by whoever you purchased them from. And you are wrong. I did not take offense to anything, I simply corrected your post so that you wouldn't inadvertently mislead the next guy into buying something because you didn't know what it was you were selling and labeled your ad incorrectly. Speak your mind all you want, but you should have done your research first before purchasing them if you were in fact lied to when you bought them. Especially, if you are now reselling them to someone else who could have possibly paid you thinking they were getting something other than what they were actually getting because of your mistake. Its your job to advertise your product for sale correctly, which you did not, so no need to get all snippy when somebody comes along and corrects you. Have a nice day now that its complete and good luck with your sale.

By the way, it does make me feel better because now you're listing title actually states what you're selling and not something entirely different. Again, have a nice day and good luck with your sale. :)

It might help if you post your location since shipping would be more trouble and cost than its worth in this situation. That way if somebody local is interested, they'll know you're nearby.

I would be interested if I didn't install a big brake kit on the front of my truck. Unfortunately, the smallest diameter wheels I can run now are 20" wheels. My stock spare doesn't even do me any good anymore. Lol

Here's what I learned after searching for a set of genuine PPV wheels for a long time, finally finding a set locally for a steal, running them for awhile, and then reselling them. There's a bigger market for PPV wheels than some people think, but the demand is MUCH higher than the supply. I paid $400 for mine and when it came time to sell them, I listed them on eBay and they sold for $1150, plus the buyer covered the shipping cost. He must've REALLY wanted them bad! Anyway, back to my point. PPV's are hard to find, so guys paint or powder coat the work truck wheels gloss back and run the silver or chrome plastic work truck wheel center caps with them for a "faux" PPV wheel look. If I were in the market for a set of PPV wheels right now, I'd buy your brand new gloss black GM work truck wheels which look identical to the PPV wheels, and then drill and tap them to accept the genuine PPV center caps. Its very easy to do this, and there's a member here in the classifieds with a set of genuine PPV center caps for sale for like $200 or something. Trust me, they're worth $50 each used in good condition because even if you can find a GM dealer willing to order them for you, they're well over $100 each new.

So if there are any members reading this that are in the market for a set of PPV's, do what I said and buy these wheels along with the PPV center caps for sale a few threads down from this one and then just drill and tap these wheels to accept the center caps. Easy as that and WHAM! You've got yourself a set of PPV wheels. They won't technically be genuine GM PPV wheels, but you'd never know the difference, even comparing them side by side with a real set.
