Either the DNX7160 or DNX9960 are good.
Also all you need to install is a Pac OS-3 or OS-4 for factory integration of the aftermarket HU (the OS-4 is better) and a PAC SWI-JACK, which is the PAC adapter that plugs into the OS-4 direct (real easy to install) to maintain steering controls. And then you will also need a dash kit that fits these Tahoes.

i had a bose 6 disc factory gm radio and changed it out with a pioneer avic-z110bt. It's their flagship model with built in parot bluetooth audio/phone controls with mic included, SD card/DVD slot's behind the 7" mechanical fold down screen and is very clean looking. Built in nav, great interface, and super fast (fast meaning responsive... i've had 5 screens in my lifetime and this is on a whole different level then the past pioneer/alpine screens i've had). It also has a built in EQ and can control a sub on it's own if you happen to get a sub. I just stuck with my factory bose speakers and got the head unit and added the nd-bc4 rear cam/msn direct tuner/HD radio as the add-ons. All in all, i would do it again...

This all depends on the HU you get and what is in your Tahoe but in my case:
Pioneer HU Z120BT
PAC OS4 to preserve Onstar and interface to GM lan and break out all the speakers and other GMLAN signals (e.g. VSS)
PAC SWI-PS (integrates will with OS-4) preserve steering wheel controls
GMRVD preserves Rear Seat Entertainment controls/screen/headphones
Metra BACKUPCAM to preserve stock backup cam
A lot of soldering and connection management to make the harnesses to fit with each other.

All this costs ~$1K if you are careful where/when you buy what.
