How does everyone online "make money" on their trade and on selling their vehicles? Does anyone ever say "yea I let my ride go for real cheap... they really stuck it to me!"? Just wondering out loud. I don't doubt that the OP did make money on it... but everyone but me seems to be able to do this when trading or selling a vehicle.
He just drove a new 60k truck of the lot. It has prob lost 10,000 in value the last few days and payed an assload in taxes on it (depending on state). In the end he didnot come out ahead. But I understand wanting a new vehicle and your new tahoe is beautiful! Love that color.

Thats why its a 3 year lease, I turn it back in and walk away with a brand new 2015 when im ready, I will never buy or lease a first year release of a new body, I owed 25K on my Escalade and i sold it for 32K to the Chevy dealer, they tried to give me 29K and i told them Lexus had offered 32K and they agreed to match it.

I got a killer deal on the Tahoe lease because i know the sales manager really well and he wrote the car as an Owner Demo when they ordered it so i got an extra 4000 off for that, and then i got 3000 off for having a Lexus Lease in my household and then i got GMS, in total i had 9500+- a few $$ in savings

I still came out ahead, i bought an escalade and drove it for 3 years I paid 29K in payments on it, i sold it and made back 7K so it cost me 22K to drive the truck for 3 years, on a lease I pay $25K for 3 years dont have to worry about anything with the car like new tires or brakes and at the end of 3 years return it and not have to think "am i about to lose money"

I also forgot to mention that it is a very nice Tahoe indeed. It is about up there with an Escalade price.

I know and i will NEVER buy a first year Release of a new Body/Gen truck, they always have issues looka at the 2007 Escalade, wind noise, Water Leaks, Motor Mounts breaking, all that was fixed in 2008, Ill be waiting for a 2015 Tahoe or Escalade.

I have an 07 and it's fine.
I don't even have the cracked dash issue.
