Question on tires. Discount tire is recommending I go with 305/40/22 tires on my new ck375. Since these are wider than the stock 285's are they going to still look flush with the side of my Tahoe?

They will be wider but not stick out a bunch. Once you get your price from them hit up jdpber on here. Shoot him a PM! Great prices on tires and super sonic shipping!! :waytogo: I've used him twice now and been more than happy both times.

It's looks like the Nitto 420s 305/40/22 is going to run my 180.00 per tire. I'm getting them from a friend of a friend. So I'm somewhat committed, but want to make sure they don't stick out. Would like to keep the clean look as much as possible.

Soulsea had 305/40/22 on his CK wheels and they looked good. Not sure why Discount Tire is contradicting what GM recommends for these wheels though. But, either way, they will fit and you should be happy. Only downside to running a wide tire like that is sometimes you get "tracking" where the vehicle wants to sorta steer itself into a particular direction, namely when the roads are wet or you hit a big puddle. This isn't because of the tire, just the tire width. More rubber on the road, harder to push the water out of the tires. If that makes sense...

Yup yup 305s looked great ... never the 'tracking' issue myself but they are a little stiffer ride than the 285s.

They don't stick out:
