Lol and sorry for the repost but I just fully read your post you said you run 70 pounds in your tires!!! Holly **** that's a lot for a 1/2 ton truck I bet it rides like an old wood wagon on the Oregon trail!!

i agree. 70 lbs is a lot. I know the tire manufacturer say the max is about 70-80, but that is probably assuming you are towing. I'd stick with anywhere between 35-45. Too much will wear the inner treads, and too little will wear the outer. But if you say your treads are fine at 70, all the better!

There was a thread about gear codes on here but I can't seem to find it anymore but luckily I printed it out. It was by bowtiefreak. Pretty useful information. I found one similar online:

I think these are the corresponding colors...yellow is better gas mileage, black is close to factory ratio, and blue is more power

Thanks guys.. yes change gear oil is always useful and not hard or pricy.. when the tires were mounted they put 80# in them and they were bubbled.. so i dropped them to 70# and they flattened out.. 4,000 miles in and they are even so im gonna roll with them.. and actually the truck rides great.. also previously before the 35s there were 33s on the 20s and those rode alot alot worse..

STICK - yes i know you can never trust the previous owner.. but he did have me a file folder full of dealer service slips and the install bull from a reputable 4wd center that installed the lift.. so for the most part everything he said was truth.. and yes i know just bc it was serviced by the dealer does not mean the 18 year old changing the oil knew jack about mechanic.. but it is nice knowing that it was maintained regularly on a schedule.. receipts are good for a few things other than trash.

at 75 mph i am dead nutz at 2,000 rpm on the high way.. so any help would be nice to better address this issue.. and i realize a tire thread has morphed but what ever..

We shall see

and once agian i never ment to affend anyone or make out like a boast.. i am simply going by the numbers i read on the dash. so it is what it is,, but i trust you guys and if it seems high and / or incorrect i will investigate. mainly for my peace of mind.. and to make it correct.
