Still trying to find out how many Ah and CCA these batteries should have to fit these trucks. Nothing statet on the old battery itself.

I think the battery I got had like 900 CCA. The car starts nice and fast. Been through like four batteries on an 05 :uhoh2:

Yes, you can. They are strong batteries but tend to last around 3 years. They work different & can still start your truck in a low power state. Did you go through another battery?

Do you have a system installed or do you know why they aren't lasting? Stick with the factory group size. Cca or ah value doesn't mean you'll get more or less life out of it. Not knowing exactly what's going on or why you're going through them so quick I'd just get something that a) is easily accessible b) easy to warranty & c) not going to require relocation or modifications (unless that's what you want).

If you have a system installed have you upgraded your alternator? Do you have a drain? Cables in good shape?

Yes, I have replaced all speakers, subwoofer and stereo. The shop who installed it all, got it back in now to install reverse camera, the correct adapter for the stereo and a few more stuff.
He measured if the stereo or sub was the reason why the batteries died so quickly, but did not find anything wrong.
I suspect it is because of all the short trips I drive the car.
But how long a battery will fit?
I want to add a second battery also.
What kind of alternator can I upgrade to?
