Went to the track got some good numbers with the new TB.
I was running mid to high 12's and got a new best ET time 12.53@105


Going to the track again at the end of this month hopefully run low 12's with the cold Nov. weather lol

pretty cool that your running 12.5 on the 5.3. Makes me rethink getting a 6.0/lq9.

I was going to do a 408 stroker LQ9 short block but that's not till next spring/ summer .. I'm trying to squeeze everything out of this 5.3 lol hopefully run some low 12s this month

5.3 is not a bad motor, you can get alot out of it if done right IMO

5.3 is not a bad motor, you can get alot out of it if done right IMO

If i could low 12's on my tahoe, i be fine. Surprise the heck out of alot of folks.
Ive heard the 5.3 is a good one, stout engine.

that freaking awesome man! 12s been a goal of mines, but I can only imagine it till I get there. Soon as I can afford a turbo charger for my LQ9 I think Ill have no problem.

I would like to see you hit high 11s, It seems very possible with a motor swap to some bigger cubes, gears swap and some more traction.

I honestly want to make my Tahoe the fastest out there.. I'm going to do whatever it takes to do it lol even if I'm broke for a while..

HOE, I had my buddy (slowfive0) you might know him from PT.net he plug up his HP tuners and he looked at my tune and he told me there's alot more in my Truck it could run low 12s or even high 11s but I gotta play with the tune.. I'm kindy ify because I don't know how to use HP tuners and I really don't want to blow up my engine just yet lol
