So I purchased the 5202 HID fog light kit in September... Well, last week, my left fog light decided to quit working, just like everything else on my Tahoe... Anyway, I can order replacement HID bulbs from DDMTuning for $15, whereas HIDguy is wanting upwards of $50. My question here is, can I just use the bulbs from HIDGuy? I really hope so, because frankly, I'm tired of wasting every extra dollar I have, just to fix things that shouldn't be messed up anyway...

I see your Kelvin numbers are off the charts. Do you have a relay or relay harness on your kits?
Nope. No relay or wiring harness. They aren't needed. I've had my low beam HIDs since May with no problems. And I've had my fogs since September with no problems. My problem is either a blow bulb or ballast...

Did u not get any warranty? U only had the thing 5 months u should be able to get it replaced for free.

Umm they kind of are needed, especially if a bulb lasts you as long as the last one did. Its always best to use a relay harness, while your light may work and turn on, that doesn't mean they are receiving their "juice" as effectively as they want.

^^Totally agree with this statement. They aren't and are needed. Never hurts to have a relay with your HID kit.
Update:
At a carwash, I sprayed the water in behind the right fog light, and now it works perfectly. The right foglight will come on every time, now it's just the left one that isn't properly functioning.... Is it possible that some dirt has got into the connection, and maybe the light isn't firing because of the dirty connection?

I hear if you have more then one pair of HID's in the front then a relay kit is highly recommended.
