Next round of repairs was this weekend. Drivers seat upper heater pad was burned up. Pulled the seat apart and repaired that as well.
You would press the switch and it would cycle on for about 30 seconds then off. Both with the bottom and the rear heat selected.
Not hard to do and you can take care of it with the seat still in the vehicle as long as you have the patience.
Also looked into a popping noise I was getting on braking. Like a metallic tang noise. Dug around and found the brake pads shift around in the mounts. Whenever the brakes are applies it shifts the pad to one side of the mount. Not a ton but just enough to make the bonk noise. Checked to make sure the hardware kit was installed so now I am onto replacing the rotors and pads also.
Seemed odd since the brakes were apparently not done to long ago and so I dug around in the owners old reciept and sure enough I found a good ol les shwab receipt for a god awful amount of money to replace the brakes. Needless to say it will never touch that place again.
Still looking into putting on some factory 20"s sometime during summer and also a nice corsa exhaust or something similar. Also a cold air...... looking on here on the forum the GM performance looks like a nice setup. So far I have managed to eeek out 18's out of the old girl on the interstate with my tuning.
