IMG_1939.jpg I have read this forum for about 6 weeks and finally bought a 2015 Denali, I must admit after reading I do believe that maybe the xl has some design issues as I see more complaint of rattles buffering on that model.
My first 4 weeks in and I have my list.
Week one spent 1000 and added CarPlay install was easy and no issues thanks mvi, only did this as waze is coming to CarPlay and I can’t stand not having a feature, also did a dash cam as people are nuts, I hard wired this in when I did the apple play add. I also recommend proclip Usa for their Yukon car mount it’s awesome. I wish I could get and maybe this forum can help out, what is with the giant useless wireless charger in the arm rest does anyone make a replacement that takes it out.
Well rant over glad to be here

Congrats bud, welcome to the club. Pretty vehicle. Love my 2015i Denali. Been a good vehicle so far for me. Front struts went bad and need the tranny flush - oh and the stupid clips on the side trim broke like everyone else - but 75k miles and climbing and still enjoying it.

Nice pick up. I’ve got a ‘15 Yukon XL Denali myself and have had a very enjoyable 30K+ miles.

Been contemplating the addition of the apple CarPlay myself, and actually the dash cam also; Because you’re right people are nuts. Post pics of your dash cam set up and this Yukon specific mount you mention.

As far as the useless wireless charger console lid if you do some more searching there are a few threads on modifying it to actually be functional. Some helpful videos on YouTube as well, another interior project I haven’t taken on.

Welcome and enjoy the ride.

As CMoore711 stated you can modify the console lid with the charger from a 2018 with a three disc charger versus a one disc charger. Fits underneath the pad. A member on another board makes a cable to plug into the 2018 charger and now GM has one also. On 2015-2017 the plug is a little different. Easy mod. Welcome and nice looking Denali.
