I just replaced my DRLs today with some amber LEDs. I got mine from HIDGUY(forum sponsor). With the forum discount mine were $28 to my front door. Nothing else is needed, they are plug and play. Hope this helps.

Nothing appears in the dashboard? When i replaced my drls on my last car. A sensor light would appear. I got that fixed by adding a relay. Just wondering if i needed a relay on the truck also

I just installed mine this afternoon. So far I have not seen any lights, but I've only put about 20 miles on it since install. I would think I would have seen them by now if there was any kind of issue.

I installed LED DRLs on our '02 Sierra, and really like them. The best part is they run cooler, which is a real issue with DRLs. The incandescent bulb will burn the light socket with time. Ask me how I know. Hopefully, I've given the light sockets a few more years of life.

I highly-recommend them for nothing else than protecting the light sockets from excessive heat. They also do look different, making the truck stand out a bit from the rest of the crowd, which is the general idea of DRLs.

Didn't do it in our PPV, because DRLs are disabled in that vehicle. I think people see it anyway, even the Soccormoms talking on their cell phone and yelling at the spawn in the back seat. :D

Any tips or tricks on getting the DRL's out of the headlight? Do you have to remove the headlight completely?
