welcome glad to have u buddy. i see you like mud?
Roads, their absence, is one of the main problems in Russia. Tahoe helps me to be sure everywhere:)
The pic was made in 700 km from Moscow, my wife's homeland. Its 10 km from a large atomic electricity station. The ground is soft and truck runs perfect.
If its interesting I can post some fotos of bad roads and people with different trucks who find them and explore. Its a sort of hobby for lots of guys in Russia.

Hi guys,
I've just registered at tahoeforum.com but seems like here are much more info!
About me: my name's Dim. I'm from Moscow, Russia.
I do like american cars, thats why I bought a new Tahoe '11 LTZ 5,3 last December.
18'000 miles were driven with pleasure.
A true american car that provides respect on road and reliability while driving.
Now I have a lot of questions, how to improve some features.

With best regards from Russia!

Welcome aboard Dim! Eric here. You have got yourself a nice looking truck. I see you asked "how to improve some features".... There are a lot of very experienced and knowledgeable people here so don't hesitate to search subjects of interest and ask questions brother.

Clicking on "forum" at the upper left portion of the page will get you into the various forums, to include the chat which is up at the top of the forums.

This will keep you in the discussions of your model (2007-present)

"tech info" at the bottom of this^ page will lead to the "how to do it yourself" posts for your model.

Any thread that says "sticky" is something deemed important to all, and I suggest checking them out to get a better understanding of your rig!

Thanks for help, Eric. I will ask if something is not clear.
If I find not enough info shoul I start a new tread?
My first search will be:
1. Headlights to improve
2. Taillight - to find nice variant with amber corner lights
3. Brakes - to improve - find new recommended rotors and pads.
4. Interior - some improvements, I saw at owners foto here.

Yes, if you do not find enough info on a subject via the search criteria feel free to start a thread and ask questions. We're always willing to help. Let me address what you have above and maybe get ya headed in the right direction :High 5:

1. Headlights: There is a LOT of info on here with regards to ways to improve your headlights in both how they perform (making them brighter) and look. You should have no problem locating that information on here.

2. Taillights: Finding a good variant with Amber in them for an '07+ may be difficult but I'd start by looking on eBay and go from there. I have not seen many around for the latest body style.

3. Brakes: I always recommend talking to clkelley to get you fixed up. He's a vendor on here for Synthetic Motorsports and has a complete line of R1 Concepts that are very reasonably priced and perform well. Shoot him a PM and he'll respond back fairly quickly for you.

4. Interior: what improvements are you looking for? Audio? Upholstery?

Welcome Dima! I'm from Odessa, Ukraine originally and came to USA when I was 7. I just recently joined the forum myself and there are a lot of very helpful people and info on here.

Show us some photos from where you live so we can see how things look there now. Also if you go to Moscow take some photos of our truck in the city we like to see a lot of photos!

Feel free to send me private message if you want to talk on the phone or Skype in Russian. I am just starting my upgrades to my 2010 Tahoe Z71. So we are in the same place.
