My fuel pump died today. I bought a new one w/ sender & will be dropping the tank tomorrow to install.

I know I need to un-bolt the straps & lower the tank BUT...

Are there any clips etc holding lines in place? Anything to unbolt to safely drop tank to the ground?

Do I need any special tool for the securing ring or fuel lines?

Any input or link to a thread I didn't see would be appreciated.

u can disconnect the fuel lines by hand on the pump i done it. now putting them back on top of the tank (not the pump) is a *****. but it should take about 1-2hrs. make sure you clean off all around the pump b4 removing it. u dont want that dirt going in the tank.
