New Grill

Windows tinted, LED tails, and finaly got the grill installed. The grill looks pretty decent for $50. Next I want to debadge the sides and back. Any tips on that?

lookin purdy there! Good upgrade for $50, looks way better then the stock grille. You should paint the emblem now.

Thanks man! I was thinkin the same thing, any tips on painting the emblem? I've never really tackled paiting before..

It's easy. Remove the emblem, mask it off with painters, scuff it a little with sand paper, clean it real good, hit with a couple coats of primer, paint, then clear. The key is thin even coats.

nice grill man. where did you order it from ? link please. i bought a billet one but dont really feel like cutting my original grill frame. did you have to cut any stock pieces ?

Sweet, I'll have to get on that the next nice day we have. Do you think tinting it with night shade would work to still have a little red show through? I think that might look kinda cool.

Hassoun, I got it from Grille-Tech.com, I chose the race style in silver but they have different options.. I kind of wish I would have picked up the black to see what it looked like. You dont have to remove the stock grill at all, you just slide this one over it. It attatches kind of cheaply with zip ties, its not noticable though. I am thinking when I have more time I might get some small bolts and brackets, but for now it looks pretty good.

yeh as long as its not noticeable then it should be fine. im gonna buy the same one color you have. if you want i'll buy this one of you just so you can buy the black one without regretting anything haha

haha good deal, I think I'm gonna stick with this one for now, maybe in the future I might grab a black one though, post some pics when you get it. I'm intersted to see it on your truck.

Blackdenali, thanks man. you read my mind I just havent gotten the courage to do it.. I havent been able to make up my mind if I'm going to strip it all or just the badges... Im torn!!

was thinking the same things the moldings should be next on ur list. it will make it look real clean
