New guy 2002 Yukon XL 4x4 5.3

Hello all just wanted to say hello. Just purchased a 2002 Yukon XL SLT 4x4 with a 5.3l 121,000 miles all documentation since new came with it. Always wanted one and on many occasions needed one. Plan on using in quite often pulling my tent trailer around and our bi-weekly fishing trips. So far loving it. Decided to check out the forum and found a lot of good info so I registered. Since I am a firm believer in pictures or it's a worthless thread here are 2


Current state of my 65 Vette (had a 66) hence the name. And another reason I got the truck since it goes to body prep in the next couple months.

Welcome Chris. Do you have any plans for the yukon or just using it as a tow rig?

I want a bit better mpg so, bb tune and cai. Thinking LED lights interior and puddles. Stereo (Bluetooth hands free), amp, sub(s), better door speakers already have the stereo stuff just need to install. Just really enjoy it.

I totally know about starting to modify something.

Had a 1972 Datsun pick up that I started just shaving a few things. Turned into a hot rod with a 327 67' Vette engine 350 turbo trans. Couple videos below of that just recently sold it.
