Howzit braddahs!

I have a 1999 Yukon that I just picked up. It has two unprogrammed remotes that look like this. The previous owner picked them up but never programmed them.

I cannot get either one to program. Nothing happens no matter how long I hold down the two buttons. The truck goes into programming mode okay, though.

I am assuming I have the incorrect remotes given the "Trunk Release" button.

Does the picture below show the correct remote?

Welcome Ken. My friend has a 99 yukon and he's got the second remote you posted so I'm thinking you have the wrong one.

Ohh so your an "I PHONY" guy... Haha... J/K.... I've got the HTC Thunderbolt, its better than the HTC EVO I had before... Plus Verizon has 4G in my area, where as Sprint didn't. And I only paid .01 cent for it...

Ken.....I have the same remote for my '99 Tahoe that you show in your second picture. A least it looks the same in the front. Double check the GM# on the back, and the Model/FCC id # also. A dealership should be able to tell you if the #'s are right for your ride.
I used the following instructions to program the new remotes I got off Ebay.....
