Hello all. I have a 1995 4dr 4wd Tahoe LT. I bought it from my brother bone stock and in need of serious TLC. The interior was coated in grease, the leather was oily, the carpets were stained, the stereo was shot and only one speaker played. I have put in all new carpet, degreased and cleaned the dash and seats, redyed the seats where needed, dropped in a new headunit, 4 new kicker 6.5" speakers,had a magnaflow single in-dual out muffler and chrome tips added, removed all the impact strip molding from the body, and threw a 3" body lift under her and bolted on some Dick Cepek Mud Country tires wrapped around the DC2's.
This is what she looks like right now.
Not bad for 2 months worth of work, right?
I'm now looking to finish out the sound system by building brackets to mount 2 6x9 Memphis Audio speakers in the rear above the hatch where the factory 4x10s are and to build a box to mount a Kicker L5 sub under the rear seats. I also hope to find ways to add a little more power to her without having to go for the popular LS motor swap.
So, anyways, there's a little about my truck and I look forward to sharing info and ideas with everyone here.
