Hello everybody I'm on several other forums XR1200 and R1 (Jeff B) as I ride too. I have owned my burgundy 2000 Yukon almost from new. She is a daily driver (130K) so not to much bling for me, however She lost her luster and we fell out of love. So working in a body shop I decided it was time to go to town on it. A couple of hrs. each night till the work was done. The truck was mirror straight to start with so it was pretty easy to have a one off custom paint job sporting the black, orange and white of Harley that would have cost 1000's to the average. I find myself here lurking for ideas. Just bought some new tires and wheels nothing radical 285/50/20 X 8.5 +18. The truck now bares a striking resemblance to my Orange XR1200 HD on a low budget which I find are the best mods. I hope to find some good mods here and possible new friends. Jeff B

OK ask and you shall receive. These are early pics without the wheels, running boards and other lil bits installed. There are 4 coats of clear on the truck now with some flake added to it. A chunk of flake the size of a pencil eraser added to one gallon of clear dont seem like much. However when the sun is out so are the sparkles. Being its in the clear all colors have em but is most evident in the black. Not as big as the 70's metal flake but larger than pearl. It really gives the paint a boost. If your in low light IE clouds, garage or night time the colors look true however when any light is apparent look out. My idea of bling. hope I fit in here
