So i just picked up an 04 Denali and im going to put in a system i just need some opinions and renforcements. I am going to go kicker, ive always wanted a kicker set up. I need to leave the third row in but im going to have a custom box made for behind them possibly even have the box come up over the back seat and have them face forward... I want the system to be very loud no bigger than 12's ive seen a lot of talk about cvx's. I want people to hear me coming for sure and blow off heads when theyre inside as well lol. So help me out through suggestions ive got some $ to work with here. I was looking on ebay and am thinking about going with 2 12 kicker cvx they rms at 750 watts 2 ohm and a kicker zx1500.1 it can run 2ohm at 1500watts x 1 channel. Think that would do the trick? thanks ~husker

you can do a custom box with 2 cvx's 12s on a 1500.1 and it will be loud as long as that box is built for that whole back area behind the 3rd row because you need all the space you can get, you will need a big capacitor at the least for that amp, it draws alot of power...

2 12" Re ***, both firing up port going under the 3rd row seat.... or i guess the those silly kickers... id go with solo barics, since your working with such a small space you can work it and make the solos fit right next to each other using all the room you can... and probably get away with running 4 12s facing the top of the roof... but not coming over the 3rd row seat...

I understand your want for kicker, but i recommend the Hifonics Brutus amp (BXI2010) amp. I had that on my 4 15" kicker cvr's and it was loud. i love the hifonics amps. great price and great product. you can get the brutus amps for about 250.00 brand new online. if your on a budget i would go with 2 kicker cvx's or l7's with a brutus amp. i have kicker coax's in my doors, and 2 15'' l7 kickers with a hifonics brutus amp (2000w) and a hifonics zeus (440w) for the doors. havent installed the amps and subs yet cuz im lazy but i know what the brutus can and will do. for less than a 1000 bucks you can get all kicker speakers, hifonics amps, and subs. probably wiring and 2nd battery if u shop right....

Parker, look at the Solobaric Classics, very similar to the CVX but you can fit ther 12's in .88 sealed per woofer. So less than 1 cube each. Get two DVC 2's and the ZXX1500.1, so you have a final impedance of 2 ohm.

1 sub - 15" firing to the rear. Build the box using all space your willing to give up and port the box up towards the ceiling. Tune the box between 35-39hz and let the bass roll!!

Big cabin area for the one speaker in limited space so make sure you meet the minimum RMS power for the sub and depending on the quality of amp go up to 20% higher. (make CERTAIN your signal is clean, no crappy downloaded music without cleaning the file for clipping) If you box is smaller in cubes than the speaker wants you can drive more power to it. If the sub is at max airspace then I wouldn't recommend.

Depending on the model of MA audio sub pay close attention to the speaker spec sheet. Remember the sub is INSIDE the cabin, last thing you want is distortion or motor noise polluting the cab.
