Hello everyone Die Hard Ford Guy here,,, Took trip in my brother in laws 2015 Chevy Tahoe with all the bells and whistles I fell in love with it. He finally talked me into going down Chevy and checking them out. I checked out the 2017 didn't like the little changes they made to them so I Gave in and bought a 2015 Pre Certified Chevy Tahoe Lt. I have it for 2 weeks its been Back to Chevy 8 Days out of the 14 with Check engine light issues. Said thing is I really Love the truck just Don't trust it . Is this a common issue with this year truck ...

This is hard to answer without knowing why the light is on. Do you know what codes it's throwing? How many miles are on it?

told me its a cold engine start meaning it comes on when the engine cold after sitting few hours or the next morning..... Told me its a Fuel injector and it burned out the cataler convertor

sounds like a precertified that they didnt fix, lol

what they said doesnt make sense. @ least until we get more details.


knock on wood , mine has been good.
a buddy of mine is getting some fuel injectors replaced

a couple of other peeps here have mentioned getting fuel injectors &/or plug wires replaced.
dont recall them mentioning CEL or cat issues
