One thing to consider is the 09+ have the 6spd -vs- 4spd transmission. Not saying it's worth the extra $$ or not, just something to take into consideration.

Good luck in your search. I bought and '07 back in NOV '07, and sold it after about 6months sice I didn't feel I "needed" a Tahoe, and since gas prices were on the rise...I rationalized myself into selling. WORST thing I ever did, aside from buying an Audi A3 to replace it (nice car...just not for me).

Finally couldn't take it any more and bought a new '10 in JUL. Never going to be without a Tahoe again.

Good to know, thank rob! Is the mpg substantially better or just smoother shifting? I'm not sure I can afford a '10 at this point (still in college). San Diego just had such crappy roads Im so tired of scraping and having my front bumper go to hell every other month.
