Hey guys I've got an 07 Tahoe and was wondering if anyone has ever dumped the exhaust right after the y-pipe? I unbolted the majority of the exhaust from the y-pipe and moved the flex coupler out of the way just to see what it sounds like and was wondering if anyone has ever taken off the rest of the system and left it like this. I'm concerned that carbon monoxide could be an issue since it's right under the passenger...

It'll probably sound like *** and putting that aside....the drone would drive you batty especially when it goes into v4 mode

it sounded MUCH louder than stock of course and it does drone a bit but I don't mind. It realllly screams when you get on it. 5.3 btw

If you want to find out for yourself, it takes less than a minute with a 15 mm socket.
