Hi Everyone,

I’ve been reading on here since I bought my Tahoe 2 years ago. Lots of good information and it seems like a friendly community.

I’ve always loved the GMT800 Tahoe’s and Yukon’s since I saw a brand new one at the dealership in 2001.

Living in the city and being single I never needed such a large vehicle so I’ve always had sports cars. Now I’m married, have kids and live in a rural area that gets a lot of snow so this has been the perfect vehicle.

I was really happy to find this one with 70,000 kilometres (40,000 miles). 32E43188-9186-469E-BAA4-551D5CE9EEB9.jpeg CEEEAB5F-5254-4A83-B76D-86CFCD91B92D.jpeg 9CECC4D1-9E8F-4A67-8AE3-2FAD07E5E370.jpeg It’s in great condition, only problem is it has the 4.8, but I’m really happy with it anyway.

Welcome on your official joining! That is a great looking tahoe, I've always liked those yukon wheels, they have a great clean look to them.

Ain't nothing wrong with the 4.8. People poo-poo them, but it still gets ya there, and with better mileage.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome from Miami Beach Clint!! Your Yukon looks to be in excellent condition. No worry on the 4.8.

I had an 01 Silverado 4.8 when i lived in Alaska. 190k miles and it dragged lots of cars out of the snow with a tow strap. Unless you are worried about speed all of the availible engines are powerful enough to get most jobs done.

With that said, when the 4.8 gets tired its an easy swap for something bigger lol. Or just let it get the job done.
