I bought new front hub bearings for my '96 Tahoe 4x4, same ones sold by O'R-----'s Auto Parts(made in China house brand). Machine work is very nice, first quality ABS wire and plug, wheel studs have nice threads and are seated properly, etc... BUT - when I hold the hub assy in my hand and turn the wheel mounting flange I can hear and feel a slight ratcheting/clicking noise, and one of the two hub assy's is considerably noisier. Is there supposed to be some noise or is it possible the new bearings were damaged when pressed into the hubs? Other than the ratcheting noise, the flange turns smoothly and freely... Any comments or advice would be appreciated before I install them...
