wow, If my engine bay got that dirty, I think I'd keep the airbox.

Agreed. I don't pay that much attention to my engine bay but I do clean her out every now and then. I really need to post some pics of my trucks for all to see the beauty of stock yukons :)

Off the road here question .. you guys are talking about keeping the engine bay/engine clean .. what is the best way of doing that myself ?

Meaning, can I just hose it down with water ? LOL

Spray with Simple Green and then run water over it, then wipe down.

same, use my mr magic car wash set to rinse for low volume filtered water.

so you can just slap a big filter on the MAF on these things? I might do this without asking my gf first . . . when she womps on it the GROWL is gonna scare her lol.

Even without replacing the whole intake plenum up to the TB you still notice a difference and get good sound out of it? I'm really only interested in throttle response and throaty sound, I'm not dyoing the thing . . .
