Hi all,

Just joined and wanted to share our recent purchase.

2004 Yukon XL Denali
142k miles
No major issues. Had to do the rear brakes and likely replace the drivers side front hub assy for a bad bearing.

Paid $6995

The drivers set leather looks in great shape. And you've got a great view of the valley from there.

Super clean for that many miles! That's aweosme! I bought 2006 a year ago with half that amount of miles and my drivers seat leather was in way worse shape than yours! And a damn cheap price too!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I've been taking care of basic maintenance issues so far, anything you guys recommend I do right off the bat just for increased reliability overall?

Jealous of your white nali. The leather looks great! My front seat bottoms are toast..

I suggest you upgrade your Transmission cooler.

There are great write ups both here and on performance trucks .net on installing a Tru Cool 40k. I cheaped out and put in a hayden 679, which was still a significant improvement over the stocker.

I've also installed a "vette servo," in my trans. Crisps up the shifts a bit. Cheap, easy install.

Are your air shocks and compressor in good shape? Mine were toast... ended up going with springs and traditional shocks to keep the cost low. Based on your rear ride height I wouldn't be surprised if they were bad.

Thanks for the info. Went on a couple long trips and can already tell a trans cooler is needed.

The rear air shocks are shot so im shopping around, want to keep it stock so I'll just save up for new air shocks. Hopefully the compressor is good to go. Otherwise found a good deal on a dorman replacement.
