surprised you even bothered with a hand held tuner when you plan for turbos on e85.

i would stay away from the 3.08 gears. these big trucks are pigs and need some extra gearing to get moving. if anything i'd go to 4.10s.

Through business dealings and friendships formed over the years, I have aquired lots of cool stuff, go fast goodies and all kinds of nonsense. Diablosport is personal friends of mine, and right around the corner. Although I do plan to go turbo, it won't be over night. So I figured any little bit of help I could get from now till then, was a great/easy option. Not only that, I can have 5 custom tunes in the hand held,..which means I can use it to grow with the truck,..turbo or not. It'll also give me a multi gauge option so if I do go turbo, I can get boost gauge layouts and such...etc. Good tools, for the money. Besides that, I had the trinity laying around :licklips:

I hear you on the GEAR thing. I know what you mean by it probably turning into kind of a **** with that setup but,..turbo plans in mind, I am not worried about it a whole lot, based on the added load that the gear will add to the turbo setup. Small turbo(s),..lots of load=torque across the board. I am hoping that science project works out...like it did on my vette.

I went from a 3.42 gear set in my twin turbo vette,...totally unuseable on the street,...I broke a diff, had a spare 2.73 laying around,...everyone said DON'T DO IT!!!!!!! lol, it was the best thing I could have done to THAT car,...as the turbos liked the long gears,..loaded them up pretty hardcore, and the car ended up being pretty nasty.

3.73 to 3.08 NA= dog

3.73 to 3.08 on boost= no problem.

This thing is a daily driver,..the less RPM for me, the better. If for some reason in the world I do hate it(i won't),..i'll just ditch the 3.08's and go to the 42's but,..I don't expect that will happen.

To get an idea of what I mean by LOAD,..drive a rear mount turbo anything( i have installed a few of cars/trucks). 1-2nd gear, probably doesn't have enough to to really generate any boost, or MAX boost, based on how fast vehicle is going through those gears....put it in 3rd-4th-5th....gears become longer, load is increased, boost pressure increases,..=torque/power. Those gears feel amazing.....kinda what I am trying to duplicate across the board.

I dunno if any of that makes sense or not lol.

Thanks for the welcome/heads up/advice man, I appreciate it.

Thanks man! Opinions are always appreciated, that's for sure. I thought about a black front but, I really like the white bumpers over the silver for some reason. Maybe i'll plastic dip it myself first to get an idea of what it looks like. I also agree with you though on the white with blacked out windows,...def am gonna get the tint darker then what it is eventually. Waiting on a buddy to get back with me on the steel take off wheels.

I can't wait for the LED's to come in.

Stoked. I hope not to disappoint, thanks for the welcome everyone.

...and the super duper, custom, super high dollar intake/smoove pipes ;) Actually, was pretty cheap.
