How ya doin every1, I jus gotta 2004 GMC Yukon with a bose system I wanna replace the stock head unit with a pioneer but I herd I gotta bypass the system,I'm thinkin slappin some 22' or 24' rims

Welcome to the forums and congrats on the purchase. Yes, you do need to bypass if you want to retain steering wheel controls and warning chimes. Lots of good info on this can be found at Crutchfield.
