Just as a thought starter: Local dealer has 3 new Tahoes, 2 LS and 1 LTZ.
The LS's are $48,900 and the LTZ is $70,900. Same 4wd, same engine, same drivetrain, same body and frame, same 3rd row seats, nice aluminum wheels and decent tires, and the LS's are not strippers by any means but do have cloth seats and no sunroof. Wow, $21,000 for extra goodies? My thinking is a person who is a bit more limited on spending can get really the same truck at a more affordable value. Its not going to look as frilly, but is going to drive and ride the same, be just as quiet, and be new.
