Hi I am new to this website and not really sure how to properly find where to post this, but my question is how to convert a awd truck to a 4x4. I have a 04 GMC Yukon XL truck and the 3 buttons I have for the 4x4 system is a tracition control button, a 4x4 regular button, and a 4 low button. The type I want is the four buttons that let me control when the 4x4 is on or off. Reasons for doing this would be better MPG and my front diff when I flushed it had alot of silver in it (prob fine metal shavings). If anyone has done or knows how to do this I would really appericiate it. Also I would like to know if my abs or tractin control are affected, as well as will my diff and any computers need to be changed.
