Hey guys.. just picked up a 2002 Tahoe today.. pic attached.

$3900.. 2002 Tahoe 223k 4x4 and E85 5.3L

Automatic transmission rebuilt at 208k
New tires and rims at 200k.
New front wheel bearings at 220k
New fuel pump at 200k
New alternator and battery at 210k
New intake manifold gasket at 190k

My questions are.. given the work already done.. is anything else recommended at this point? Next recommended service? Any misc n00b tips?

I always replace all fluids if don't have documentation when last done. Oil change, trans fluid, differentials, coolant and power steering and brake fluid. Looks like had new trans fluid 15k ago so that is good for 15k more or so depending on how you drive it but I never stretch mileage intervals, I do it earlier but that is me. Lots of people say trans fluid at 60k intervals.

Thx.. I did get documentation which is great.. the pass fender has a small rust hole so I am trying to figure out how to address. I am leaning towards some Ebay flares.

Also, rear wiper doesn't work.. I can't hear the motor but arm doesn't move.

Congrats on the purchase. Sounds like it's been well taken care of and with the tranny rebuild, manifold gasket and fuel pump you shouldn't have much to worry about for a while.

Out of sight, out of mind??? :Nonono: Why not just fix it? Or buy another white fender from a salvage yard.
