My question is...

"I buy GMPP the day of purchase because its cheaper, the coverage I buy is simply two more years on top of the OEM 3 year bumper to Bumper because I only keep vehicles 4-5 years. That way I'm always covered and if I sell the new buyer might get some GMPP coverage."

Can I buy GMPP on a brand new Tahoe from one of the dealers mentioned in this thread if the vehicle has already been purchased from another dealer?

It didn't seem like the dealer I was talking to offered GMPP it looked to be a dealer specific warranty. For example, there weren't different plan options, it was only a single option for brand new vehicles.
Yes, you can buy from any dealer. I bought 3 GMPP's over the years from Black Cadillac and I didn't buy the vehicles from them. They were very easy to deal with. I would be a little nervous about a GM dealer that doesn't offer a GMPP. They must make way more money on non-GM policies.

I know for a fact you can by an extended warranty from a dealership other then the selling dealership because I have done exactly that on my previous vehicle. There was a guy on one of the forums who set up a special deal for forum members and I was able to save some money compared to what the selling dealership was offering. The extended warranty is with GM not the dealership.

I understand that, but why don't all dealerships offer this as an option I guess it must be to sell their own warranty instead of GMs warranty.

I plan to contact Todd, as many others have, and ask him what my options are....if I end up buying.

It’s not cheaper day 1, they will stick you but it is buried in your monthly payment, so your paying more and more interest
