Looks like this kit is not well sorted based on the NNBS truck forum. My original post regarding the concern of lower suspension parts and dynamics/range of motion seems warranted.

Not sure where you guys are getting your horror stories from...I did a ton of research on this lift across a number of different forums and the solid majority of people are extremely positive about the Rough Country lift.

Yes the RC 3.5" kit had issues with the balljoints going bad all the time and it not holding an alignment. Also there was some issues with the upper a-arm rubbing the coil spring.

It seems the earlier versions of this kit were pretty bad (search gmfullsize forum). They might have fixed the current version. Below is a quote from someone who had the early version.

"You keep the stock knuckles so you can use the stock wheels. I had the earliest version of this kit and it didn't last 2 months. Ball joints were trash, nothing lined up on install, I had to drill the diff drops so the holes would line up, the bj's didn't fit right into the UCAS, alignment....etc. RC also thought it wise to use bj's that were too large for the stock knuckles, so you had to drill out the spindles. The kit was a total *************. I look at it this way...even if RC finally got it right, it only took them what? Almost 4 years and numerous failed versions. What a joke. Cheap is cheap for a reason."

PM me for pics. The kit has been on now for over 1000 miles. The kit took me two evenings to put on after work using jack stands in my garage. Hardest part of the install was reinstalling the coils and the front struts...I'm just saying you better have some muscle. The differential comes completely out but its not too difficult however I definitely recommend having someone to help you.

I am averaging about 14.1 mpg with the Toyos. No issues with the vehicle coming out of alignment. After some nominal trimming of the splash guards and removing the lower valance, I have very little rubbing issues at full lock. So far so good and she looks great. If anyone has questions, I'm happy to answer.
