I just bought these last week before reading about installing a load resistor....I was told these bulbs are plug and play and I wouldn't need them, however before I go through the installation I want to know if I need the resistors or not.... Any help will be greatly appreciated....

These are the bulbs.

you need LED protectors to protect the LED's from voltage spikes. I have SMD LED DRL's and had to use them.
