I didn't see any real threads on this so i figured it might be helpful. I installed new Headlights from Spec D Tuning on my 2017 Tahoe. Wasn't exactly a walk in the park but got it done. The new headlights included h7 halogen low beams and H1 halogen Highs. Why they decided not to upgrade to LED is beyond me but I went ahead and upgraded. Need a very specific LED replacement to make this work optimally.
I used Audew H7 LED Headlight Bulbs, Newest Version 360-degree LED Headlight Bulbs with HOCOLO H7 LED Resistor Kit Relay Harness Adapter Anti Flicker Error Decoder Warning Canceller which are both on Amazon. I used CAR ROVER Car Headlight Seal Dustproof Cover to replace the standard light cap and left the processor for the LED lights outside the lighting housing along with the resistors which i attached to the side of the vehicle with heat resistant double sided tape. This combo has produced zero issues with the headlights... at least so far... All in all it was totally worth the time and effort to get this done. I can actually see when i drive at night!

That looks really clean! I like the updated look that looks like a factory option.

I think I am one step closer to doing this myself. I updated the low beams with a 5000k or 5500k LED but it still looks awkward because the LED DRL are a warmer white.

Do you have any more pictures of the install? What was total cost?

Thanks

Sorry for the delay, still figuring out this site. No other pics of the install but i can tell you that you have to pull the front bumper off, you can get away with not fully unclipping from the front of the grill as well. I took the whole thing off. Lights were around $300, new LED low beams were like $30 to $50 bucks and you need the Can bus resonators as well those were like $20 bucks. All are from Amazon. I had to flip the "Plug and Play" around as the locking pins didn't line up the way the light company designed. just use electrical tape to make sure everything is connected and secure. I will shoot some picks of what the set up looks like inside where I did the LED connection. If you get the same ones be sure you connect the included Resistors for the DRL and turn light hyperflashing. Still get one once and a while which is really not a big deal, just turn off and then back on.
