New steering rack in my future

Bumping this thread cause I find it very helpful with great info.

My '13 Escalade ESV needs a new steering rack assembly and really on the fence on rather to go with a remanufactured OEM or brand new aftermarket.

@Geotrash Over 2 years later how's the reman BBB Industries steering rack been holding up? Still feel similar to driving your 2012 with the original rack? (I suppose that could have changed as well in 2 years.)

There's less than a $50 price difference between the BBB Industries remanufactured versus new.
Reman $349
New $391

A remanufactured OEM is $749 from gmpartsdirect.com that includes a $150 core charge. However, with the size and weight I'm thinking the cost to ship that back for the core refund makes that mute.

It's holding up great and the steering feel is indistinguishable from my 2012 also. That said, a new rack for only $50 more is pretty tempting.
