New STT Pro and a 7.5" RC Lift

Anyone tried these out yet?

Im gonna be going with the 295/65/20's on my 2010. Going to have a 7.5" Rough Country lift installed in the next week or two, depending on when parts come in. Along with a set of 20" Black Rhino Everest +15MM. Hoping that everything lines up and looks good but just looking for a general review of the tires. 35's for $1300 shipped is a pretty good deal.

Good looking tire but haven't seen any reviews. If your thinking of lifting don't use the RC 7.5" kit!!!! It has terrible angles and does nothing for the rear end but a giant spacer! That kit is the 5" kit with 7.5" spacer so it just maxes out the front end angles. Look at the pro comp kit, fabtech, FTS, or Mcgaughys as they are all a much better design. I prefer the FTS because its a 7" but measures closer 8" and can go up to 9", also the track width is 1" compared to 1.5" of all other brands.

If you do get the FTS kit you should order the following parts to re-center the rear axle in the middle of the fender.

FT20360BK - Driver Upper Link
FT20361BK - Passenger Upper Link
FT20362BK - Lower Link Driver/Passenger
FT20299 - Bushing Kit

All these parts can be special ordered from summit racing by calling them. These parts are longer axle trailing arms so the stock ones aren't pushed down to the max of down travel like the FTS and RC kit do to it.

Yeah I am gonna get the cognito UCA along with the kit. There is a local guy with the same lift and he hasn't had any problems out of it.

Def get some uppers and if you do the kit order those parts I listed. It really helps the rear end out big time!!! The lift kits that don't use brackets to drop the rear trailing arms basically max out the down travel. Look at the bump stop on lower coil perch on axle where trailing arm meets. The fab tech arms are longer and give more down travel. Well worth the investment!

I had a set of 37's on my last truck...Sierra 2500 HD. They looked cool, balanced nice and rode very smooth. Only two complaints - they were terrible in snow and ice (I undetstand any MT is not great on snow and ice) but I was dead in the water if it was slick and I was in 4x2. They also had way more hum on the rode than my Toyo MT's or Kumho's did.

They do great. I'm really glad I went with them. I have probably 500ish miles on them and while they howl, it's not near as loud as I was expecting. I ended up with a 6.5" Zone lift instead of the RC. It rides great and I'm looking at swaybars and a few other parts down the road.
