New Tahoe Owner

Hello everyone

Just got my first Tahoe. Its a 2008 LT3 and I love it. I'm about to start personalizing it, so just kinda wanted some opinions and to introduce myself. heres a pic. it came with these 22's. I'm thinking about going to 24's, removing the roof rack, all emblems, HIDs, black taillights and i havnt decided what else yet




here are the wheels i am considering, in 24s. tell me what you think

I vote you leave it just like it is. It's beautiful!

And I personally feel you're deducting from your resale value when you start doing all these cosmetic mods. In this economy you never know when you might be forced to sell it rather quickly.

carcrz has some black 24s on his very similar to those and it looks so clean on his black nbs. LOVE the rim choice be sure to post pics!

those wheels are ugly. get the ones u are thinking about getting. and those chrome ones, no one does chrome anymore. where are you? i'll come get them and take them, u know, to uh, recycle them, for ya...free of charge. i'd hate to have a new tahoe owner burdened with having to dispose of an extra set of rims.

While recently shopping for a Tahoe, I would never have considered purchasing one that had been debadged, lifted, lowered or altered very much in the performance area. I have seen way too many engine tunes totally ruin a vehicle. And I also did not consider any Tahoe that I felt had ungodly ugly large wheels on it. But, that's just me.

Congrats on the pretty truck!

I'd class it up with some nice oem 22s instead of the wheels you're looking at. That way you get nice rims and you're keeping the truck factory for when you sell it.
