So the suburban tires are getting low so it's about that time. Currently running a 35x12.5x17 in the Procomp Extreme AT. I really like them too, I have had this set since I lifted my tahoe and they are now running out of life. This truck is all street for the most part so MT is most likely out due to wear. A nice aggressive AT is what I am after without breaking the bank.

So I am sticking with a 35. I am tempted to get the Procomps again but as I mentioned I would like to hear what you guys are liking these days.

Im looking at the Kumho Road Venture AT KL78 when my current Coopers bite the dust.
Everything Ive read says they're good tires for the money. I saw a set on a truck and was surprised at how aggressive they looked for an AT.

Ill be curious to see what you end up getting and where you get them from

unknown at this time.
how about desert duelers at revo 2's Ithink the biggest 17" is 315/70/17 so it is about 34.4 dia. 12.7 sect width, 9.6 tread with 17/32 deep. It is a most excellent street/a-t tire.

I've got the KL78's in a 285/75/16, and yes, they are really aggressive for an AT.
I've got about 17,000 on them now, and have about 9-10/32's left - most likely expect to get about 35K on them before I'm about 1/8" of tread. Have to run a higher pressure in them compared to most other tires, anything under 45PSI and they seem "squishy", for lack of a better word. They are rated up to 65PSA, but I've got mine at 50.

Kris - where in PA are you? Just got back from New Hope a few hours ago, going back down again next weekend...

My truck is the first 4x4 I've owned so I don't have much experience w/a bunch of different tires, but the Goodyear Duratracs I put on it get nothing but rave reviews from me.
Like you I have the 35's(315/70R17's) and I love 'em. They're surprisingly quiet on the road, and great in the sand, and rain. Unfortunately we didn't get any snow for me to test 'em in before my recent accident.
I got 'em from Tire Rack delivered for $1,100

I've read a ton of great reviews for the Falken Wild Peak AT's, I think I'm going to go that route in the same 35x12.50r17 size you run.

I hate tire shopping.....and wheel shopping. I am slightly tempted to take the Kumho MTs off the tahoe and put them on the burban and grab some 37s for the tahoe but right now I'll keep looking at 35s...

Chuck, I live out near reading / pottstown.
