New to Forum and to Tahoe's

Hi everyone, my wife and I just picked up an 09 Tahoe LS 9-passenger that she is using for her Daycare during the week and we are using as our camping/towing/weekend vehicle. It has 107K miles on it but runs great.

I have been browsing the forum for the last week and per the recommendations of many I installed the Airaid Jr Intake kit, a Magnaflow 12259 muffler and deleted the resonator. Next step is to grab a Diablosport I-1000 tuner. I know most people here use the BB custom tune I am going with the Diablo because I work at a Performance Auto Parts place and we do custom dyno tuning using Diablosport.

Next steps should be taking off that stick on chrome (mirrors, fender by headlight, handles??) and remove bug guard Also, are those wheels chromed? The look like OEM 17s but I've never seen them chromed before

The bug guard will be staying I don't mind it, the wheels are chrome not my cup of tea but it has brand new tires so they will be staying for a while.

The strips by the front bumper will be removed, the other chrome I am still on the fence about, I am not sure how difficult they would be to remove. My wife doesn't really want me messing around with the truck even though I would love to lower it and add some 22's but since it is her business vehicle she wants it left alone.

You know of any issues with the Diablo I1000 eraseing the stock tune and then the vehicle not running? Almost got the Diablo but seen some crazy reviews on Amazon

I have not heard of that. We sold over 400 units last year with very few problems. I actually ended up going with a SCT tuner because it was slightly cheaper and we do custom tuning with SCT at work as well.
