Hi every one new to the forum been looking around the past few days at things people have done to there rides looked like a pretty helpful forum and thought i would introduce my self and my ride. my names lester im from fairbanks AK and I just picked up my 03 yukon slt from a friend for a hell of a deal one of those you cant say no too. Its still stock at the moment besides the helo 866 24's with 305/35r24 tires. i plan on lowering it a 2-4 drop but nothing too drastic since our roads here suck i just want to lower the fender gap a bit. I been reading a lot of people use the torsion key drop vs drop spindles when going a 2-4 and i was curious if there was a reason besides cost. I also plan on painting it flat black with orange accents mostly just the emblems and the chrome in the rims. and shaving the rub strips and other unnessasary emblems off. smoked head lights and tails and a audio system for starters. any help, info or criticism is appreciated as i well be searching the forum for more ideas.

:welcome:
and as far as I know the only difference in keys vs. spindles is cost. spindles would def be the better way to go and will help you better down the road.
good looking ride btw like the sound of your future plans
