Hi guys, I'm new here and figure I'd sign up and share. I picked up a 2010 Escalade the previous week for the wife. We need an Urban Assault Vehicle to tow and carry the family around with so this fit the bill. I got a good deal on it as there were things I had to fix with the suspension but I felt it was a fair price for $24k. It does have 110k miles on it but was well maintained and mostly highway miles anyway. It had the "Service Suspension System" message and the rear tabs for the defroster were both broke. Other small things included the 2nd row armrest needed to be tightened down, new caps on the armrest, one of the vents was broken. The dealership is going to replace the glass at their cost and I took care of the SSS and other issues. Bought two new magnaride shocks and a compressor from Amazon for about $750/shipped and the truck rides like a dream now. All the other small plastic crap was another $25. I love the fact that under all the bling it's still a GM with shared parts and easily fixable. Here are a couple pics. Hoping to learn more around here. It seems to be hard to find information on Escalade specific forums for the do it yourselfer.
