Thanks for the nice words fella's. I don't really have any big plans for it. i replaced the rear shocks and compressor. I had a squeaky idler pulley and the tensioner looked just as bad so I replaced both of those. Replaced the belt. Just small stuff to keep it running and sounding better.

I'm going with a turbo kmember to fit a 4" downpipe on the Trans Am and also using my buddy's PT8285 turbo since it fits albiet tight. The escalade is awesome because there is so much room under the hood for activities. not so much with the trans am.

How do you keep from melting the fans with the hot side mounted where it is?

Nice and clean, though, but yeah, I'll vouch for no space. We have an LT4 in our 4th Gen, and you just about have to pull the fan assembly out to change the belt.

It's got dual puller fans which most turbo front mount guys go to pushers. Looks are deceiving as the turbine has some distance from the shroud and I also put a blanket on the turbine as well to keep things from melting. Worked fine with the smaller turbo. This is just mocked up so I can have a buddy build the downpipe. I have to wrap everything else to keep stuff from melting.

Honestly I think it's just a premium with the platinum wheels from the previous owner.

Did you replace the rear suspension yourself? If so how difficult was it? Mine compressor runs for about two minutes every time I turn on my Denali so I think I'm getting close to needing to replace the rear soon!

Easy to do....I did mine with a jack and jackstands.....a lift would be a plus but not needed. The compressor should run on startup-but for 5-10 secs. Mine was so bad that it would kick on multiple times throughout a trip to the store or wherever.....I had a torn shock plus my compressor was very loud.

Could you share a link to the compressor you bought off of Amazon as well as the shocks?

Is your compressor very loud? If not the problem is not the compressor, its a leaking shock. I bought my front and rears from:

Great kit, perfect fit for a fraction of the price! And a lifetime warranty!

Seems like a great deal to me. I'm starting to shop 09-10 models and a clean one at that price is hard to come by here in the mid-atlantic area.
