New to site and Tahoe

Hello all.

My name is Andrew and I am new to this site. As with all other vehicles I own, I find a forum to adhear to. Just purchased an 05 tahoe from georgia. It is a base model 4x4 5.3. After riding around in my grandfathers tahoe for many summers, I was very happy with how useable the truck was.<hence the purchase. Im from chicago going down on october 16th to pick her up. She only has 56000 miles on her and has very good service records.

As you can tell by my user name, I am no stranger to gm products. Im finally getting back into an suv after I got rid of my 1990 k5 blazer. I really like to customize my vehicles to make them more useable, better looking and well....faster.

I have a couple of weeks to plan on what to do to the tahoe. Any insite on the ASAP mods would be greatly appreciated.

Why'd ya get rid of the K5?? Sold mine over the summer & still regretting it

It was wrecked and I didnt have the money at the time to get it fixed. I miss that truck every day tho. Some of my best memories were in that truck (both front and back seats). I had 9 inches of lift and 37s on it. Built motor and trans....drive shafts, 1 ton axles....and the list goes on and on....I sold the drive train to a guy with a short bed 2wd and gave the body to someone who likes doing alot of body work. Now that Im getting a tahoe for the family....Im actually contemplating selling my car and buying another k5....some of the coolest trucks ever made. only this time I want a 72
