For those here with 07-up tahoe & suburbans with 26s wheels, what did you guys do to fix the wheel well rubbing? I have 305/30/26 tires and the ride height is stock on my truck. It appears that my front height is a bit lower than the rear so the tire shop thinks that my truck's front springs maybe off center or have started to sag. Is there a special strut or spring I can buy that will make the front sit level with the rear? I don't want to go with a smaller tire such as a 275 due to road conditions where I live at. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I was told I could do something like a spring cup that would help lift up the springs but would it just be better in the long run to by new shocks and springs? What are the normal price ranges for shock and springs on these type of trucks? My truck even though its an 07 almost has 100K miles on it.

All these trucks sit slightly lower up front then they do the rear. Not sure on the front suspension on the new trucks but you can get a level kit for the back to get it to sit lower. If its just rubbing the plastic part of the fender then trim the plastic.

To be honest I don't want to lower the truck. I would like to bring the front up a bit to be even with the rear. I know I don't sound like the norm here but I want to try and avoid cutting the inner fender plastic and just lift the front up a bit.

Again im not sure on the front of these trucks but if they have a torsion bars then you can crank those up some to level it out. Someone should chime in to help you out on that part.

You must be dealing with a tire shop who ahs no clue what they are talking about. The front suspension on most cars, suv's and trucks sit lower than the rear even when they are brand new. With 100k miles on the clock, its probably worst due to spring sag and strut wear, which is always inevitable with that many miles.
If minor rubbing disturbs you that much then by all means go ahead and lift the front suspension with the use of a leveling kit, which can be bought at www.autoanything.com. But keep in mind that it will not look to hot with 26s, gonna be way to high all around.
I say change your shocks on all four corners and that alone will lift up the SUV a bit because you will have new charged shocks in there to alleviate the spring sag, then put on your 26s and either deal with the rubbing, or trim parts of the front wheel liner off.

Either way with 100k miles you are due for some new shocks for ride and handling issues so you should be considering getting those, but the level kit part is all up to you and your personal taste.

So new shocks all around should help out a bit? If that's the case then I'll price them out and get it done this weekend. Thanks for the suggestion. This is my first time every buying aftermarket wheels on any vehicle I've ever owned and I wanted to get it right.

New shocks all around will help a lot, especially with the ride of 26s. I say you should get the Bilstein HD shocks all around from www.ajusa.com I got mine from there back in the day and they have the best price. Should also help with sag due to worn suspension parts.
I say you just install those new shocks, then just trim the liner to compensate for rubbing. You should not rub much if you run a 295/30/26 tire on a wheel with a +35 offset.

What about the Monroe Senatrac for the front and Reflex for the rears? I have no idea on changing shocks and will most likely have a shop do it.

The Bilstein will ride better and last way longer for a bit more money. Monroe is not known to be very quality.
