I have a 2007 Yukon and was experiencing similar issues, after driving for 5 or 6 hours on the highway, arriving at my destination, the low oil pressure warning beep went off and the oil pressure guage was at zero. I immediately turned off the engine and checked the oil level, it was normal. I took it to my mechanic who first replaced the oil sending unit, did nothing, he then did a oil pressure test and found the pressure to be low. We decided it must be the oil pump, after spending $1000 to do that, the pressure guage still showed low pressure but was in acceptable specs . I continued to drive and the warning light and beep still go off after the engine is hot. I still am lost as to why this is still happening? It appears to be some computer malfunction?
