Hello All,

I've been lurking on here for awhile and just recently joined up and started posting. Bought my 2000 Tahoe in 2008 about the time the economy tanked. Wanted to modify it back then but got laid off so we didn't have any expendable income to mod the truck. Things are picking back up so I got my old job back (Civil Designer).

I'm a hobby drag racer, love wrenching and fabricating. Been around the LS1 scene since around 1999 (senior member on Z28.com and LS1tech). I do all the work on my 1997 Camaro, including building the engine, porting the heads, tuning (via EFI Live), setting up rearend gears, fabricating the 10pt rollcage in the car etc... I've been known to build a T56 6 speed trans or two as well....

So I'm really excited about modding the Tahoe. Been wanting to lower it since we bought it in 2008. So far I've removed the factory roof rack, added 15% tint to the front windows and de-badged/removed mouldings from it. Looking to add some 22's and a 3/5 kit in the near future. This is how she looks in current state. It was stone stock up until a week ago.

That's about it for me. Looking forward to hanging out here and seeing what others are doing/have done to their Tahoes. :)

Thanks everyone. Looking forward to getting this thing lowered. It's gonna semm like a completely different rig after that. Then I'll probably start on some minor cosmetic things like grill, tail lights, new driving light lenses, Esky gauge cluster etc.. :)
